At this time, we plan to hold the Seattle Privacy Compliance Academy as scheduled, taking into account social distancing guideline and limiting attendance to 45 individuals, including faculty.

The health and safety of our attendees, faculty, and staff is our top priority.  We will continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments and follow recommendations of the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control, and federal, state and local government agencies. If it becomes necessary to cancel this event, registered attendees will be notified via email.

Each Academy provides three-and-a-half days of classroom-style training covering the latest laws, regulations, and developments to help you effectively manage your organization’s compliance program.  They are ideal for professionals with some compliance knowledge and experience.  Participants will gain a deeper understanding of effective compliance management in a healthcare setting plus all of the CEUs needed to meet the continuing education requirement to sit for the optional Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® exam offered on the last day of the Academy.

Academies are taught by expert faculty and limited in size to encourage networking, facilitate group discussions, and to provide opportunities to experiment with putting key principles into practice.  They typically sell out several weeks, if not months, in advance. We encourage prospective attendees to enroll as early as possible.

Course materials are provided onsite on the first day of the academy. This includes a binder containing all course materials and one-year access to the online version of Health Care Privacy Compliance Handbook, 3rd Edition. ($205.00 value)
